It is the age-old truth. Whatever we sow, we shall reap.
Jesus is calling us not to live for ourselves, the carnal life with its wicked desires, but to live by the Spirit. Yes, to give oneself over and to be filled with His Spirit. It is the absolute grace of God to live in this way since we deserve death. Receive Grace and walk in the Spirit.
