Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

Living in peace is living with no separation from God, no division, free from sin— this is only possible through the cross and living in the Holy Spirit.
Our goal is not trying to be a ‘people pleaser but a ‘God pleaser.’ When we please God, it may offend others. When we obey Jesus, it might not be what others want or like. We might not be at ‘peace’ with others because the glorious gospel does produce division. It separates truth from deception.
Live in the Peace of God and please the Lord.
