The Lord defends those being oppressed and those that are crying out to him for help. The Lord God Almighty Arises! He is light! When he rises, the light of God shines upon the earth.
God, may your truth shine. May your light and beauty preserve this generation. Though others exalt wickedness, we ask for your light to shine upon us. Arise and Shine! May the light of your face shine upon us.
Arise, Oh Lord.
