“After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead.
Now then, you and all these people,
get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites.
I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.
Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.
As I was with Moses, so I will be with you;
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Be strong and courageous,
because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”

We are often tasked by the Lord to take on new challenges. We are called by God to be leaders and take new territories. The obstacles seem absolutely impossible. Yet, with God, it is. If we look at our own strengths we can not do it…
This is the case with all of life. We are completely dependent on God and need Him. This goes from the simplest of tasks to the ‘big ones’. Some may be facing new relationships, marriages, becoming parents or jobs, and new positions… We need God in every aspect of our lives. We can be strong and courageous. God is with us.
Pray for others to cross the 'River Jordan' and give their life to God. Pray that they would be strong and courageous to lay their life down and follow God.
Pray also for friends that are struggling to know how to get through what may seem insurmountable areas in their life. May the power of God flood their beings with supernatural strength and courage to see the difficulties overcome.
